Communications Technology

The Communication Technology program at Aldershot emphasizes the importance and development of multimedia skills, creative thinking skills, and media literacy in the internet age. The Grade 10 program lays the groundwork and acts as the foundation for the Grade 11 and 12 programs. Students are provided with ample creative control in units that span from graphic design to video editing to web design while developing their ability to collaborate on multi-faceted projects.

In the Grade 11 and 12 programs, students will further their technical and creative abilities at a more professional level with a greater focus on advertising and marketing. These are M level courses which can be used for all post-secondary pathways.
