Established in Canada in 1998, National Poetry Month brings together schools, booksellers, libraries, and poets from across the country to celebrate poetry and its vital place in Canada’s culture.  Visit the library in April to sign out a book of poems or to create your own blackout poem!

Take some time on Friday to be crafty! Come to the library during P.3 and P.4 to make “spring things”!  See Ms. Weber for more details.

Hello tennis team, this morning practise has been moved to Thursday. We do not have access to the courts on Friday. Please show up at 7am. Also in order to participate you need to get the forms from Ms. Greenslade in room 211.

Boys Baseball will have a practice today after school in the gym.

Inside Ride Inside Ride Inside Ride….LIONS we are half way there….we have 20 teams registered and we are shooting for 40...I know that many of you have started the process but not registered online...let’s push for 30 by Friday….ask your friends, ask your teachers...who’s in?

LIONS LEADERSHIP...are you creative? Do you like to be involved in Aldershot spirit events? Would you like to help organize events like the Terry Fox run, semi formal, Inside Ride and spirit weeks?  LIONS LEADERSHIP needs YOU! We are changing things up for next year and running school elections. There is a poster with the roles that are up for election posted on the bulletin board outside the office and down by the gym.  What do you want next year to look like at ALDERSHOT? Application forms are available in the main office, guidance office and on the gym doors.

Girls Softball will be holding its next practice on Monday, April 23rd.  Girls, you must bring in your signed medical forms before you are allowed to participate.  Weather permitting, our practice will be outside, so please dress appropriately.
