ELEMENTARY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The library staff would like to invite all puzzle-makers to see our new 500 piece puzzle.  That’s right: it’s not a 1000 piece puzzle or a 200 piece puzzle, but a 500 piece puzzle.  Take some time today to de-stress by working on the puzzle


Don’t forget about our new writing contest, too! It’s called, “Thank You for the Music.”  More details on the writing contest can be found in the library!

Don’t forget to hand in your BBQ form for our track & field day next week !  You won’t want to miss out!


SECONDARY ANNOUNCEMENTS:  

Hey Aldershot! Please come out to our Spring Concert tomorrow, May 9th and 7pm! There will be lots of fun and exciting tunes performed by Junior Band, Grade 9 Band and Senior Band.  There also will be performances by various small ensembles! And last but not least, there will be a game activity that you can participate and enter to win a BIG prize. So please come out this Wednesday and support your peers at the Spring Concert!

If you have applied to be a Link Leader for the 2018-2019 school year, then you need to check your halton e-mail account to find out if you have been accepted.  Please note that the date for May Development Day is Wednesday May 23 and this is a mandatory training.

Congratulations to the boys baseball team for winning their fourth consecutive game this year.  Great pitching by Jack Thorpe and Ben Zarnke was supported by great hitting from Nick Schofield and Conner Stapleford.  Their next game is on Wednesday at 1pm at Abbey Park.

Attention all Junior and Senior boys volleyball members! Please meet Mr. B in the front foyer at 10:45am today to have your team picture taken! Again, that’s all JR and SR boys volleyball members meet at 10:45am in the foyer TODAY for your yearbook photo!

Students who are planning to participate in the Halton Math competition -- meet in room 215 on Thursday to practice.

Please dismiss the Girls’ Softball team at 2:20 p.m. for their game against Nelson.  Also, and this is very important - if you have not seen Mr. Mills and filled out the eligibility form and discussed transportation to this game - we will be forfeiting, so go see him immediately.
