Did you know that the palace of Versailles was originally built as a hunting lodge by King Louis the Thirteenth and later expanded to one of the largest royal palaces in the world by King Louis the Fourteenth?  Its Hall of Mirrors is one of the most beautiful rooms in the world. Come and decide for yourself. Join the Aldershot School trip to France in March 2019. Register before June 21 to receive a $435 discount. That’s next week! Speak to Mr.  Stuart if you have any questions. His classroom is number 239.

Please return all library books by the end of the day today! If you have a Literature Circle book for English, make sure your due date has been changed for later.  Thank you for your help in returning library resources!

For students who were in Mr. Sephton’s Grade 9 Drama Class in semester 1, there will be a screening of the epic film “The Bloodmonster” on this Thursday during period 3 in the drama room  This screening is for Mr. Sephton’s Grade 9 Drama Class from semester 1 only.

Grads!  You’ve taken your graduation pictures to honour your past 4 years at Aldershot, but now it’s time to imagine your future!  Come to the library to take another picture on Wednesday--your Goofy Grad Green Screen picture! Send your picture backgrounds to Ms. Weber ahead of time if you can!  For more information, see Ms. Weber!

Attention all ACE members- there will be a special year end meeting on Friday at first break

The girls soccer team played to 0-0 tie last night against McMillan - the girls played hard as a team and put together many great chances that fell short by mere inches- Reese Andreychuk was on fire as striker, helped by Sophia Hammond, Alex Meade and Winn Binks at midfield- Rowan Komadan held the backfield with solid defense and Tatum Casson was stellar between the pipes securing the shut-out performance.  Well done girls- next game Wednesday- go lions !!!
