This announcement is for grade eight students: Did you know that 14 thousand Canadian soldiers participated in the Allied D-Day invasion of Normandy against the Nazis in June 1944?  Many of these young men were the same age as our grade 12 students at Aldershot. Previous students who have visited France with the school have found their visit to Juno beach to be a moving experience.  Don’t miss out on this amazing experience! Join the Aldershot trip to France in March 2019. If you register before June 21, you will receive a discount of $435. If you have any questions, see Mr. Stuart in room 239.

There will be a girls soccer tryout today at lunch. Please bring your lunch and meet on the field at 12:10.

You may have noticed an addition to our flag pole this morning. The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia is TODAY May 17th and aims to coordinate international events that raise awareness of LGBTQ rights violations and  create an interest in LGBT rights worldwide. Aldershot is pleased to by flying the Pride flag in solidarity and support of the  LBGTQ community here in Burlington and across the world.
